With 2018 finally here and the prospects of a great new year ahead, I’ve made the tough decision to postpone the Palm Springs WonderHouse, which I’ve been working on for the past six months.
There is, however, an upside. Launching a new venture or project like WonderHouse presents valuable lessons learned and opportunities to step back and make sure everything "feels right."
I discovered bringing WonderHouse together was like designing and assembling a puzzle. Pieces of all shapes and sizes needed to fall into place to create a well-rounded brand experience for media.
Unfortunately, I was unable to make that happen. The right mix of brands did not come together, resulting in too many in one category, and not enough in others. Too much was at stake to screw it up.
Speaking of re-tooling, I'm pivoting and reviving my Food Fete media events business with a completely new format and purpose to better meet the needs of brands, food industry leaders and content creators.
I've achieved some clarity on what needs to happen, so the WonderHouse lessons learned will be applied toward resurrecting Food Fete very soon. I’m excited about new projects on the horizon for 2018, so stay tuned!
